Biomedical Sensors Printed Directly Onto Clothing

Researchers at the University of California San Diego have developed biomedical tracking sensors that can be printed onto clothing. Currently the technology is able to passively monitor the blood pressure and heart rate of hospital patients, but researcher Joseph Wang is working to develop methods for detecting chemical reactions to monitor alcohol levels in drivers or stress levels in soldiers and athletes.
